How to perform skin rejuvenation

The most visible signs of ageing are manifested mainly on the skin on the face, neck and hands. The strategy to reduce and slow down ageing is called anti-ageing. Its main objective is to achieve greater elasticity, smoothness, flexibility, strength and hydration. This leads to the reduction of wrinkles. At the same time, we try to reduce the secondary effects of ageing such as dryness, flakiness, fine vascular ectasias and enlarged pores.

The principle of this modern rejuvenation method consists in soaking collagenous and elastic fibers in the dermis using the laser beam. The skin on the face is thereby stretched and its texture is improved. The method is mainly used for small wrinkles.

The procedure takes about half an hour. The laser is equipped with dynamic cooling, so that no visible reaction occurs on the facial skin after the treatment. Some patients may experience slight redness or minor swelling of the face which will subside within a few hours.

Smoothbeam laser is capable of stretching small, but even larger wrinkles, without any need for a surgical intervention. It produces collagen where it is scarce and, last but not least, it can replace unsuitable types of collagen fibers.

Rejuvenation is a procedure which takes up to 30 minutes. It is non-invasive, which means that it does not damage the skin surface. An hour before the procedure an anaesthetic cream is applied to the face. The immediate effect is only mild redness which quickly subsides. To achieve visible rejuvenation of your skin, it is advisable to repeat the procedure 3- 4 times in one month.

Limitations after the treatment by V-Beam and Smoothbeam lasers

The only limitation after the procedure is the need to protect the treated skin from the sun for a few days. The best time to undergo the previous laser treatment procedures is from autumn to spring. It is not suitable to undergo the rejuvenation procedure in the summer months.
